Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse's Biggest Relationship Milestones

The first time Pattinson and Waterhouse were seen together was in July 2018. According to E! News, the pair went on a movie date to watch "Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again" in London before grabbing drinks across the street at SoHo House. After they were finished, the stars walked home together with their arms wrapped around each other. "Along the way, they were very close and cuddled and kissed many times," a source who witnessed the moment told the publication. "Robert was very affectionate to her and had his arm around her the whole way and Suki reciprocated by holding his hand and kissing it."

Pattinson referenced his relationship with Waterhouse for the first time in an April 2019 interview with The Times. After revealing that he's on good terms with his ex-girlfriends Kristen Stewart and FKA Twigs, the actor was asked about the rumors that he was dating Waterhouse; however, he refused to give any details. "Do I have to?" he responded before explaining why it's so important for him to keep his personal life private.

"If you let people in, it devalues what love is. If a stranger on the street asked you about your relationship, you'd think it extremely rude. If you put up a wall it ends better," he said. "I can't understand how someone can walk down the street holding hands, and it's the same as when I do it and a hundred people are taking your photo. The line between when you're performing and when you're not will eventually get washed away and you'll go completely mad."

On Feb. 8, Pattinson and Waterhouse marked a huge relationship milestone by reportedly buying a house together. According to Vogue Australia, the couple purchased a home in Hollywood Hills for $5.3 million.

Shortly after buying a house together, Waterhouse opened up about her relationship with Pattinson in a Feb. 19 interview with The Times. The actor told the publication that she's "shocked" to have been with someone for almost five years.

Although she and Pattinson are both super busy, they always make time to visit each other, no matter the distance. "I had two days off the other day, and it was like, no question I'm going back to see him," she said. "Then he'll come out for a couple of days."

Waterhouse continued to gush over her boyfriend by saying she always gets "incredibly excited" whenever he calls or texts her. "I think he feels the same about me," she said. "We've always got so much to say, and I find him hilarious."

Later in the interview, Waterhouse also got candid about her plans to have children. "You have to be like, 'I'm going be a sitting cow for a bit of time,' but it's going to be worth it," she said. "I can't wait. I wish you could click your fingers to make it happen."

On Oct. 21, Pattinson and Waterhouse made another rare public appearance by attending the 17th annual GO Campaign gala. The "Water For Elephants" actor, who is an ambassador for the nonprofit organization, donated over $12,000 toward the campaign, according to Variety.
